Carer Awards 2025

As part of our 4th birthday celebrations, we were thrilled to launch something we’ve been dreaming of for a long time — our very first Annual Carer Awards!

We hosted the awards during a special Afternoon Tea on Friday, 11th July, surrounded by laughter, cake, and good company. It was our chance to slow down and honour the everyday heroes who make everything we do possible: our Care Assistants.

Why We Created These Awards

Caregiving isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. It takes heart, strength, patience, and a lot of compassion. Every day, our team shows up for others in the most meaningful ways, often without expecting any recognition at all.

That’s why these awards mean so much to us. They’re a small way of saying a huge thank you to the people who:

• Step in last-minute without hesitation

• Bring smiles (and snacks!) wherever they go

• Lead with kindness and quiet strength

• Go the extra mile for their clients, even on weekends

• Keep us organised with impeccable documentation

• And most of all, represent the very best of what it means to care

The Award Categories

We had a bit of fun with the categories — each one designed to reflect the many sides of caregiving. Here’s what was up for grabs:

• Carer of the Year – our top honour, for consistent excellence and compassion

• Weekend Warrior – for those who hold it down when most are off

• Leadership in Care – for someone who leads with confidence, empathy, and skill

• Master of the Last Minute Yes – for the ever-reliable lifesaver we all count on

• Most Likely to Bring Snacks – because caring souls bring homemade treats too!

• Documentation Pro – for the care assistant who nails their notes every time

Every nomination came straight from the heart. Whether it was a manager recognising someone's work ethic or a fellow team member sharing a kind moment they’d witnessed — the stories behind these awards reminded us just how special our team truly is.

The Start of a New Tradition

This was the first of what we hope will be many annual award ceremonies. Because our care assistants deserve to be celebrated — not just once a year, but every day. They are the face of our company, the comfort to our clients, and the soul of our service.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event so special — and most importantly, to the care assistants who inspire us all. Here's to many more years of working, growing, and celebrating together.
